We would love you to join and compete for SUAC for season 2022-23! There are 2 preferred registrations options depending on whether you are a track & field athlete OR whether you only compete off the track in winter road & cross country races:
2022-23 Athletics NSW (Open or Concession) Athlete Membership for the period 1 October 2022 to 30 September 2023 for both the ANSW Summer Track & Field AND 2023 Winter seasons (2022-23 summer & winter season) – registration currently closed due to end of track & field season, 2023-24 season registration expected to open September 2023
2023 Winter Series Membership for the period 1 April 2023 to 30 September 2023 for the 2023 winter season ONLY (registration via methods below open for cross country, road & recreational run athletes is open as of 4 March 2023, excludes all Summer Athletics NSW Track & Field events). Winter event calendar can be found here.
A third option of 2022-23 Community Membership exists which is primarily designed for those who wish to experience community 3k and 5k track races (ie Bronze tier events only excluding all Gold & Silver tier events) and non-Championship winter events put on by Athletics NSW throughout the season. Community members pay more per event than Athlete Membership and results do not count for Summer or Winter club points however Community members do benefit from Athletics NSW insurance coverage. Community members can upgrade to Athlete Membership.
We recommend almost every athlete select the Athletics NSW Athlete Membership (1st option) except distance athletes who have missed the Summer Track & Field season who should become a Winter Series member. Can’t compete at the moment? Become a club volunteer member or NSW Official, scroll below FAQs on how to join!

Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness Annual Membership
As a member of SUAC and/or to compete at UniSport Australia Nationals Divsion 1 Athletics you also need to be an annual member of Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness, our parent organisation, which is available online at susf.com.au. Annual Memberships are $10 Sydney Uni Students, $60 non-students, $30 U18. This includes our free strength & conditioning sessions on campus with our strength & conditioning trainer.
Little Athletics NSW Dual Registration
Dual Registration allows Little Athletics athletes to have free registration (excluding club fee) for competition with a senior athletics club of their choosing. This is designed to make younger athletes more aware of senior athletics and provide a more visible pathway to senior athletics. To have Dual Registration you must be registered with a Little Athletics NSW club.
Please read the FAQs above as several are also relevant to Dual Registered athletes. Being a University club means we do not have a current affiliation with Little Athletics clubs, nor do we have a junior program like we do UniSport Nationals or scholarship programs. Strength & conditioning sessions are available to athletes of university age and above only.
They do not have to compete, it is entirely up to you as all Athletics NSW events are open to enter online (also on the day in non-Championships events). Some competitions may be age graded, others such as Allcomers meets are Open age so it is best to check the ANSW website. SUAC currently does not run its own meets but Dual Registered athletes have in the past competed at NSW Relay Championships in events where relay teams can be filled in the event and age group.
All members of SUAC and all Sydney University clubs affiliated with Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness, our umbrella organisation, require membership of SUSF. For 2022-23, the Annual Membership fee is $30 which is the fee we charge for Dual Athletes. We will arrange the SUSF membership upon registration.
Registered athletes should read and be familiar with all relevant codes and policies:
