Welcome the the website of Sydney University Athletic Club!

Sydney University Athletics Club is one of the oldest in Australia, having been founded in 1878 - in 1890 SUAC was one of the foundation clubs for the Sydney University Sports Union. Today the club caters for athletes of all abilities from elite to social, and from undergrads to veterans.

Last year the Club celebrated its 130th Anniversary. A formal dinner was held in the Sydney University McLaurin Hall, accompanied by the traditional race between UNSW and USYD athletes around the Quadrangle. 2008 also saw SUAC athlete, Lachlan Renshaw represent Australia at the Beijing Olympics over 800m. Fantastic achievement!
